How we compare money transfers

Quotes and timestamps

We collect available provider quotes for a country pair, currencies, amount and payment/receiving method. Each quote and bank exchange rate has its own timestamp. Freshness varies by source; a recent timestamp does not guarantee availability at checkout.

Fees and ranking

In Send mode, the entered amount is your total budget, including known fees; we rank by the calculated recipient amount. In Receive mode, it is the target recipient amount; we rank by the calculated total payment. Delivery time is a separate consideration.

Promotional and recurring terms

Promotions can depend on your profile, amount and route. You can disable them for all providers or individually. When recurring rates or fees are incomplete, we label the limitation rather than inventing missing terms. Referral rewards are not added to the recipient amount.

Receiving methods and SmartPay

We compare supported payout methods using the same budget or target amount. SmartPay evaluates supported conversion paths using known provider and bank rules. Bank exchange rates and banking requirements have separate sources. We do not assume that every bank or wallet supports every route.

Corrections and limitations

Manual rate and fee corrections are personal assumptions stored in your browser, not provider quotes. Provider, intermediary and bank charges or checks may differ at payment. Confirm the final debit, received amount and delivery estimate with the provider.
